The process of privatization and liberalization of the Turkish electricity market has started with the enactment of the Electricity Market Law in March 3rd 2001.
With the law, it was aimed that all activities except for the interconnected transmission system to be practiced in the free competition circumstances, and privatization of all the public generation and distribution facilities.
Although there has not been considerable progress in the privatization of the public facilities, it is now impossible to abandon this objective. This process is an integrated part of the Turkish Electricity Market Reform, as required by the European Union regulations.
ENARDA, with its knowledgeable and experienced staff, possesses the necessary accoutrements to provide consultancy service in this matter too.
